Inspired by art of an anthro bearded vulture who I thought was a warrior nun at first, I wanted to draw an actual warrior nun bearded vulture. I wanted to draw her in 14th/15th century armor and with a nun's habit and cloak similar to those worn by monastic knights such as the Hospitallers and Teutonics. She is of the Order of Saint Lucia, a martial nun order that was intended to safeguard and care for pilgrims, similar to the Hospitallers. As a Spaniard, she has spent her life training for the fight against the Moors in the final century of the Reconquista. I thought of a story where she was one of the protagonists but I think I would have to put that off for some time (around whenever I get down to writing my dinosauroid primitive fantasy story that I've thought about doing for a couple years now) because I'd have to a lot of research into Spanish culture from this time.
