Tbh this is really good looking; the anatomy is super spot on. I really only have a severe addiction to Lombax paws but these are very smushable. I was thinking of the Skidd fans out there the other day and I'm glad I saw this just looking through the general Ratchet and Clank tag, just to see what the vibe going on was.
Also I love the inclusion of micro hoverboarding; wholesome Skidd appreciation and aesthetic as heck. Righteous.

Oh yea, as soon as I first saw Skidd in the remaster on Planet Aridia.
I just stood there trying really hard to work the camera as close as I could.
To really get the best 1:1 details.
I am such a simp for McMarx. But theres never enough time to draw everything.
Happy to have gotten some art of him done at least. Will likely revisit him at some point.
& totally~
Im sure Skidd would be great around micros. Especially ones into hoverboards.

I have to be real, the remaster honestly looked so good; the amount of times I just found myself staring at the scenery was uncountable. The ambiance was so top notch.
But, on the note of character models, they really did crank that detail to 10, yes. Skidd himself looked really fantastic, as did many of the revisiting characters. Slim and Ratchet taking a selfie was just like... damn. Such a weirdly charming alternate universe, a lot of details mashed into every single thing about it. The reboot game and movie are what they are, but the good qualities to them really come off as a labor of love in the long run. I'm glad that it and movie even exist at all.
Speaking of cramming the camera into spots for the sake of lore, there's kind of a ridiculous amount of detail inside and to Ratchet's mouth in general in the 2016 game; his uvula is animated, of all things. He also has a huge amount of depth to his throat, with it going down a fair distance. It's just very Thinking Emoji if you get what I mean. Between that and the detail of palate ridges in his ps2 model, the Vore Vibe has followed his design very far.
( You can get shots inside while using an underwater wall of some kind and the camera to smush it into his face without his model fading out from distance; take note that if your ps4's fan starts blasting it's because there's a buggered line of code in there that doesn't remove the moving bubbles created from the HydroPack whenever Ratchet adjusts in the water, so it creates more active particle generators until you go to the surface, at least. So just in case your game starts chugging a lot, get Ratchet to air so the GPU doesn't overheat in there. )
Tbh I agree about him being v cool with the micro/Macro vibe; Skidd is one of the most relaxed, rolls-with-the-punches characters, I can totally see it. I gotta think of something cool to write with him, just 'cause he's such a classic and likable personality of the series.
