How does the kitty kat gooo? RAWWWWR! Doodled this while packing for Eurofurence. I will be flying out tomorrow and will have a dealer's table, woot! If yer in the Magdeburg, Germany area, come check it out! Will be doin the usual sketchbooks, hawkin' CDs and badges.
I have the usual nerves before a flight, so, drew some "comfort art" and just had to make it something sugary sweet in the process. Am pretty happy how it turned out!

Where the heck did they come from? We were talking about Go-Lion and Gao Gai Gar here.
Besides, Tetsujin 28 and Mazinger Z are stand-alone mechs that aren't constructed out of smaller, transforming robots... They're in a completely different category. Might as well throw Astro Boy and Gertie the Dinosaur at me next.

Actually while that holds true for the Super Robot Lineage which Gaogaiger and Golion have been added to, I thought GaoGaiger was more related to transformers.
This is because of the fact the "Brave" series was left over ideas and characters from after transformers had run their course. Granted this is from old Wiki info so I don't know how truthful this is.

Funny thing... I still have my blue and yellow lions. Got the whole set at a garage sale but the black red and green where broken. The blue and yellow are missing a couple accessories but hell, they are still in good condition. I put them up with my Exo-squad and Battletech stuff.
hehe yay for old cartoons and you referenced "Cats Don't Dance" as well yay! hehe

Haha, yay for obscurity! Here's a little known fact for everyone. In the US, Voltron is huge, has been since the 80s and has had multiple re-surges/revivals. In Japan, almost no one remembered Go-Lion. At all. It wasn't until a year ago or so when Go-Lion was FINALLY allowed into Super Robot Wars. Even Brain Powerd has been in for years, and that was hardly what one could call good.
So thank you for once again helping the cycle of bringing Go-Lion back into our hearts.
