Old art with a new coat of paint!

Take an anecdote from "Harpo Speaks" (pg. 218-19), a cast of characters from  colonel-strawberry, paint on some red nail polish and whaddaya get? This! And what is this? It's a submission for the long-ago Mansion Contest by CS! I had forgotten to post it to FA, who shrinks it to an illegible size. *applauds FA*

I dunno enough about CS's characters to make anybody fit where they're supposed to. "Colonel Strawberry" plays the part of Harpo Marx the murderer, "Finny" is Alexander Woollcott the D.A., "Rose" is poor Alice Deur Miller (aka "Butch") the dead body, and "Parker" is Neysa McMein who discovers the body.
