[Cover / Chiptune] Response Status
How do you make a song in a minor key somehow sound chipper? Apparently, you just avoid starting phrases on the I chord to make forcibly ending sections on deceptive cadences ending on vi feel less jarring, I guess. This is another old track I never posted, this time from 2018, which I updated to my current standard.

I think this sounds chipper because it would technically qualify as being in a major key. The order of the chords isnโt as important as the actual function of the chords. Since there is no dominant V chord for the corresponding minor key (I believe it would be f minor assuming an A-flat major key?), it would ultimately exude a major sound. Anyway, this is a fun piece! I enjoy it ๐
