Just felt like making an image in relation to the 1CC run I managed of Mushihimesama's Maniac Mode. Surviving that last bullet phase with no bombs and no miss felt VERY good!~

I am not sure if the developers, "Cave" were inspired by Touhou or the other way around.

Hey nice job! I actually just started playing recently. Nowhere near close to finishing the game without getting hit but it's a lot of fun!

I wasn't concerned about deaths, it's getting through without a game over that's the big thing. =P in fact my winning run I had 2 deaths.
But yes, it's hard but super satisfying to play~

Teach me your ways master! I need to know how to git gud at shmups using a controller instead of a mouse!

I am not really that good at them myself.
I will say of Cave's catalog of games Mushihimesama isn't too bad. I wasn't playing on the hardest difficulty, but it did take me 80+ hours of practice to beat it 1CC.
I was also playing on the Switch so I used a controller.
