Kitty: Okay, folks! The Catfish is the first contestant to leave us in Season 4 of the Masked Toon Singer. But, it's not a total loss, as we get to find out who's behind the mask. But, before we do that, let's take a gander at the panel's first impression guesses for him, shall we?
*The TUFF Troopers head down into the underground vault, and retrieve the first impression guesses for the Catfish. They then return to the stage with them, and Kitty begins to read each one.*
Kitty: Okay, everyone. Here are the first impression guesses for the Catfish.
Terry's first impression guess: Mushu from "Mulan"
Cadence's first impression guess: Spike (Dragon form) from "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic"
Chick's first impression guess: Deadpool from Marvel comics
Stew's first impression guess: Ord from "Dragon Tales"
Fred's first impression guess: Tenzin from "The Legend of Korra"
Isabelle's first impression guess: Spike (Dog form) from "Equestria Girls"
Kitty: Well, that about does it for the first impression guesses. Let's find out who's right, and who's (mostly) wrong, as we unmask the Catfish. Say it with me, folks!
Everyone: TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF!
Catfish: (removing his mask, revealing himself to be Savage Dragon)
Kitty: Oh my God! I don't believe it! It's Image Comics' very own Savage Dragon!
Everyone: What?!?
Chick: I feel completely flabbergasted!!!
Fred: How do ya think I feel?
Savage Dragon: Ha ha! I sure got you good, didn't I?
Isabelle: I'll say you did, Mr. Dragon!
Savage Dragon: That's OFFICER Dragon, sweetheart.
Isabelle: Oops! Sorry.
Kitty: Alright, Savage Dragon here is a superhero from Image Comics created by Erik Larsen in June of 1982, making his debut in Graphic Fantasy #1. However, he didn't appear as Savage Dragon until Megaton #3 in February of 1986. In the comics, he appeared in a burning vacant lot with no memory of how he even got there, and was found by the Chicago Police Department. However, they did not question the fact that he's a green dragon-like thingamajig, and they brought him on board as a police officer.
Savage Dragon: Despite sticking out within the force, I was a much needed addition to it, as I was instrumental in helping them deal with the Vicious Circle, a gang of supermutant criminals led by the Overlord, a superpowered criminal mastermind.
Cadence: Well, I'm sure the people of the Windy City are sleeping much more peacefully with you patrolling the streets.
Terry: So, is THAT where the Windy City came in?
Savage Dragon: Yeah. Chicago's my hometown. ^^
Kitty: Anyway, Savage Dragon was pretty popular when Image Comics was founded in 1992, and was even given his own animated series that ran on USA Network for two seasons, and even his own line of action figures from Playmates toys.
Stew: Playmates? Didn't they make the Ninja Turtles action figures back in the day?
Savage Dragon: Yup. I even crossed over with the Turtles at one point in my comic career.
Stew: Huh. How'd I miss that?
Kitty: Maybe that's because Savage Dragon isn't that big of a household name like Batman or Spider-Man. Which is unfortunate, 'cause you definitely have potential.
Savage Dragon: Thanks, Kitty. In fact, that's the reason why I've decided to come on this show. In hopes of becoming popular enough to get noticed, and maybe get my own movie in the works. I mean, Spawn's getting some recognition, so why not Image's other poster boy? ;3
Fred: Well, considering that you were the first one eliminated this season, you've still got ways to go.
Savage Dragon: Yeah, but it's a start.
Fred: But, hey, don't give up hope. You still got what it takes!
Isabelle: Besides, you've got loads of potential, Officer Dragon. Hopefully, one day, you'll get the recognition you deserve, and pretty soon you'll make it big like everyone from the other two comic book companies. So, keep shooting for the stars.
Savage Dragon: Thanks, Isabelle. I hope I'll get the same recognition that Spawn's getting lately. I guess that's what happens when you're part of the third most well-known comic book company in the industry. But, hey, anything's possible.
Kitty: Inspiring words, Officer Dragon. Well, folks that about does it for Group Alpha. Next up, we have Group Omega, and when we see Bald Eagle, Robed Lips, Dragon, and Robot again, they'll be joined by our first Wild Card contestant for the season. That I'm certain will be a humongous game-changer! But, right now, let's hear it for the artist formerly known as the Catfish, Savage Dragon! (gives Savage Dragon a microphone)
