While on vacation I had this idea for a buffle suit but had to wait until I got home to draw it D:
The idea to MAKE a bison fursuit is nothing new. I've planned to do this for years and I've gradually been gathering up the needed materials (which I more or less have at this point)
What is new is the idea to sidestep a normal realistic fursuit and go more for a theater/stylized version incorporating a lycra bodysuit (or a super short seal bodysuit?) and over-exaggerating the furred portions. With their fur and proportions, bison are particularly good for this.
Vision from the head is essentially nil, since the focus is more on the outward appearance. But I can always throw a camera in there if it's really needed.
So yeah, add this to my list of 'things I have the materials for and WILL make for myself someday'.

The stylisation of things can make something have the essence of something, whilst not having the perceived proportions of the real animal. This will work a treat and will look stunning. And the preadorned chest stuffing (be it female mammaries or male mammaries :D ) of the wearer will give the deep chested look of a bison.
