Buff gold dragon? Check.
Shoots fire out of his hands? Check.
Wears a vest? Check.
Prone to saying cheesy quips before decimating his enemy? You'd better believe that's a check!
Yep, that's Ralus alright. I decided to completely overhaul his medieval look, based off the brigand class from Three Houses with a couple adjustments to allow him to better blast foes with his fire magic. Namely, ditching the left-handed glove in exchange for a ruby-studded ring, and adding a dark orange ribbon tied around his right horn. I'm also trying out a new shading technique, courtesy of u/JustARandomWoof on Reddit. Makes the lighting look more natural IMO.
Ral's very much a glass cannon, boasting high strength and magic (magic being ever so slightly better due to his bloodline) and solid speed and dexterity, though with fairly meager defensive stats (again, slightly better in the magical resistance department). With silver axe in tow, he has access to the Helm Splitter, Spike, and Wild Abandon combat arts. His personal skill, Ignis, allows Ral to occasionally add half of his magic stat to his physical attacks, or half of his strength to his magic attacks, depending on his dex stat. He's very much a frontline fighter, but make sure a white mage isn't too far away, whether to warp him away from danger, or heal him back to fighting form. If ever in mortal peril, he has Vantage as a last resort, giving Ral the jump on his would-be attacker before they strike. Strategy isn't his strong suit, preferring to smash or blast things and ask questions later. He always leaves the smart stuff to actual strategists, and is very easy to work with otherwise.
