Comment on myself: This is one of my latest drawings. Finally got the new scanner up and running, but I lack a decent program on my computer to clean up my images currently. This is a straight scanned pic with minor alterations using the limited features the Visioneer program has, so it's not as good quality as previous pics.

The Legend of Foxfall lore: Varis Siveris is a gifted squirrel with magical ability. Entering Rodentia's magic academy at a very young age, she excelled in the arts rather quickly than most students, inevitably catching the magistrate, Lord Squell's attention. Under Squell's advice, the head of the academy, Master Tao, took Varis and made her into one of his two apprentices. The other apprentice, Ken, felt intimidated by her and normally chose to distance himself from her. Under Tao's apprenticeship, Varis grew far more arrogant than she was. She soon began to consider Ken her so called rival, much to his discontent. She would often provoke him into fights, or try to outdo him in the many tasks Tao set forth for both of them. Most of the time, she would research and test magical enhancing properties for Tao, while Ken researched destructive forms of magic and for stranger reasons, demonology. She would eventually flee from Rodentia with Ken when they both discovered what Tao was creating from all the research they had done. They both fled to Foxfall and warned Lady Fara of the dangers Rodentia had in store for them. Two days later, a fierce battle broke out between the forests, ending with Foxfall as victor, but not without many tragic losses. Ken would stay in Foxfall and become an advisor to Lady Fara, but Varis would return to Rodentia and also became an advisor to the newly ascended ruler, Lady Vixala. She still considers Ken her rival.
