The Sorenstein Sisters celebrate their victory in Spontoon Island's annual Speed Week competition, with Tillie (left) and Millie (right) holding their trophy-carrying pilot sibling Billie up on their shoulders. Behind them is their seaplane, the Chilli Pepper, which had suffered a nasty crash back in 1939, but now brought them victory in 1941.

 TheHotrodHero commissioned this picture as a tribute to the creator of the Sorenstein Sisters,  warren, who had sadly passed away early last year.

For me,  warren not only had an interesting art style, but he also had some good stories to tell and interesting characters to tell them with. Not only that, he worked with themes that appealed to my interests, which had an impact on my own art and some of my characters like Shani Uzuri. I really hope to one day do a few comics in a similar style to what he did.

So, Warren, this one is for you.
