I tried something a little new to try to get my light concept down. I created a copy of all the layers and pressed them down to one... filled it with just a dark color and used a mask to bring back out the areas where I'm going to light it.

Though it probably won't remain this way, it'll just be for my purposes to see how and where I want to place the light. Gah, I'm getting way into backlighting...
