One of Ken Cursoe's recent Tiny Sepuku strips --- https://www.gocomics.com/tinysepuku/2021/09/13 --- showed a potential future for air travel in which passengers get locked into little animal carriers and taken to their destination. And, ho ho, boy, wouldn't that be silly? To get stuffed into a small, inescapable carrier and have no chance to interact with the world except through wires too small to fit your whole paw through? Ha ha, yeah, that'd be a terrible thing to think about and have to draw.
I used the same simulated pencil for my sketch and for the final 'inked' layer, although the 'ink' was black rather than blue. THe Austin layer is the same black, but I reduced the opacity to about 80% and I like the way that looks for suggesting shade and distance.
