First of all, working on the name. It will be changing soon enough, so onto species lore because that's what this is for!

Sockcats are a rather old species, created from random things lying around ((like could be just cloth instead of socks but socks are most common)) and later given life by Witches or Wizards. Or simply anyone who knows enough about magic. Their original purpose was to simply test the limits of giving life to inanimate objects, Sockcats now are used for simply companionship. Usually seen with travelers as they don't need to eat as they run off their creator's magic, and as expected will die if their their creator dies.

Sockcats do seem to expirance emotion, just very little of it. and will also tend to try to run away if given the chance too.


So I'm not too proud of these, but I'll always take critic!
