Marshall: Does Vietnam have a homophobia problem?
Chuong: Yes and no. These days, nobody in Vietnam is going to care if you're LGBTQ or not. We have very few laws about it but they're basically saying we recognize their existence only. But those laws are not formally enforced. Yet we don't like anyone promoting homophobia because it's pointless these days and just not worth it.
Marshall: So basically they don't care much about it in your country as long you don't fuss about it.
Chuong: Correct.
