Amy liked to think of herself as humble.
I mean not humble in the physical sense – she was quite tall, unreasonably so for a girl.
And not humble in the sense of lacking self confidence... or even egotism.
Okay so she thought she was pretty amazing.
But she wasn't arrogant. She was open to the idea of being wrong, she was open to improving, and she never considered herself 'above' anybody. She would justify her actions by choosing good actions, not by claiming to be somehow special.
It made things a little awkward to acknowledge that she was, well, definitely something special.
Strictly speaking she could have figured it out a couple days ago, but today was the first REAL opportunity to confront it.
She'd gotten hit by a motorcycle.
The cycle flipped (don't worry the rider was fine, she checked)
She didn't.
In fact, it just... KINDA hurt.
Not agony, just a little bit of a problem.
Granted it was going slightly less than 30 miles an hour, so it could have been much worse...
But this was still one of those 'huh, I'm a superhero' moments that most people dream about.
Amy, however, was on her way to buy a new weight set.
So she simply decided to get even bigger weights than she'd been planning to.
September wasn't over yet.
Flexed arms: 21 Inches
One arm vertical push up: achieved
Casualties of automotive accident: only jeans
