Rauj Zeethian (true appearance)
It has been 2000 years since Zeethe was cursed at 15000years old. 2000 years later, the time curse that prevented him from aging in any way, has finally been cured which resulted in his body changing entirely in terms of size, appearance, and other things immediately. The now 17000 year old Chaos fire dragon, in his actual appearance has a lot more to show then just his age. Been a long time coming. This is not a redesign.
I pushed myself out of sticking to basic things and made myself get better with a bit of help from a good friend. In turn, I've drawn an entirely new body from the ground up that's more defined and a lot easier to work with. I didn't really practice on this as I sort of learn on the fly but there has been a lot going on and it has been rough to where I thought I wouldn't have time to do anything new. Here's a step forward to more positive changes.

Glad to see you are pushing yourself to improve! A suggestion would be to find some artist to look up to / would like to learn from, and analyze a couple of pieces. Try and learn how to study a piece and look at all of its pieces. For example, think about the angle of a curve and how it would change things, or consider how lighting effects were achieved. Look at textures, and all the minute artistic decisions on draconic anatomy. Maybe pick up on a couple things you would like to try to acheive, or think of what you would have done different. It helps me to be mindful of small details so that I don't get discouraged- every work of art was made one brush stroke at a time.
