Character Art - Jamie and Dabby
Reckon I oughta properly introduce these two, as they feature in an Eevee transformation animation (well, storyboard) that I made a while ago.
This kid is Jamie, an nine-year-old elementary schooler with his pokemon pal, Dabby.
Jamie's a fun-loving energetic kind of kid who loves his video games, sports, and the occasional book. Cheerful and sociable, he's beloved by his classmates and teachers alike, always making folks smile with his antics and occasionally getting into trouble just to shake things up a bit. As much as he likes his pranks, he likes his cookies, and his discipline-heavy mom has to continuously come up with new ways to thwart his efforts.
Dabby is an Odytt, the evolved form of ditto, who can use form-weaving to transform her targets into other Pokemon. However, being even younger than Jamie, she has a lot to learn about how to actually do that properly. This being her only ability, it has remained her main focus for development, and with Jamie's eager willing to lend a hand (as seen in the picture), she's provided with lots of encouragement and practice to slowly become a properly capable transformer Pokemon.
Dabby was given to Jamie by his father at the age of 4, as by way of apology for having to leave the family for reasons that shall remain a mystery, hoping the Pokemon friend would fill in the empty void he was leaving behind in Jamie's heart. Being a ghost-type, she required practically no maintenance and didn't make a mess, and without any Pokemon moves to speak of save for a small inking for how to form-weave, she was the ideal partner and buddy for the energetic and otherwise irresponsible boy growing up.
As such, they are inseperable, except in places Pokemon aren't allowed. Like school. But even then Jamie occasionally sneaks her in for a peek.
Odytt is a fan-made Pokemon developed by yours truly. Pokemon themselves, however, are not my creation, as I can imagine you can already guess by now.
