I kinda feel bad for Kicks...
Not only did I skip my shower today, not only did I wear my pleasingly putrid skunk socks in my smelliest shoes... I also jogged the 4 miles to get here after hitting the gym for an hour. All to get my feet seriously potent before stepping into the shoe store. Why, you may ask...? 😏
Because I heard a little rumour that a certain shoe salesman is supposedly not bothered by strong-smelling feet... and I wanted to challenge his nose to see if it was true. Kicks was doing great when I first stepped in, but he caught a whiff of the lingering fumes when I sat down. The moment I removed my shoe for him to measure my foot, it was like an explosion of foot stench.
His face turned beet red almost immediately when he saw just how stained my sock was, and his nose instinctively drew in a few short breaths before he visibly tensed up. He started to grin nervously as I could feel him subtly trying to sneak sniffs, although even if he were on the other side of the store, it’d be like he was face-to-foot with them. Judging by his reactions, even the shoe-selling skunk who probably whiffed hundreds of different pairs of feet was having a hard time keeping a straight face.
“I thought you said that smells don’t bother you, chum? 😏” I asked in a teasing manner. Kicks inhaled another lungful of my cheesy foot stench before he managed to stammer out a response.
“C...Crikey...! 😳😳😳”

It’s weird how the place cleared out after I took my shoe off though. Can only imagine how bad it’ll be after the second one comes off... 😋

Oh he definitely likes it. Despite the occasional gags and coughs, I could feel him taking deep sniffs of my soles after I teased him about the smell. Almost like he was trying to prove that he could handle them. His nose tickled my feet a bit when he’d start to really dig in there. 😂😅
Meh, it’s a shoe store. They usually tend to smell like ripe feet, I just made it more... noticeable. 😉
