Last year, we found out that my grandma was found in her apartment passed away. She had been there for a month. It's like... you hear events happening to others but you don't think it will happen to anyone you know. Due to family drama, stubbornness and being so far away, it happened. Years ago, I told her that I'd draw her something. I never got to it as my mom and grandma were on bad terms for years until my grandma passed away. When I was younger and still back in Finland, we would hang out with my mom's mom more than my other grandma who was way up north. Both of their deaths hit different for me. My mom has always said I look like her mom which I can see as well.

In a way, this is tribute and I'm keeping a promise which she isn't able to see.
