Rather than writing, I've been messing with the new Stellaris update. I also took an interest in modding. As a result, I decided to spend a day or two making a simple trait mod as an excuse to add micros and macros because why not? Gotta recreate my own species and the Hegemony somehow.
Edit: The mod is currently hidden until the logo artwork is replaced, which might take a while. Full explanation here.
Edit2: It took a year, but temporary placeholder icons have been implemented with the mod public once again.

It could go either way. I'm happy with it currently, but I would like to potentially add more characteristics and new events. Assuming I figure out how to script them. There's also the potential to tweak or expand upon the whole titanic life event, but my capabilities are relatively basic at the moment and I might stop here.
There is also a garden variety of megafauna in the vanilla game too. Like leviathans and the following events are in the base game of all things...

Finding someone to make new icons has proven to be difficult and I have other priorities at the moment. Publicly explaining some of the previous illustrator's racist behavior might also be awkward, so it's possible that it won't go back up if I don't get around to it. I don't know. If I eventually find someone that I can commission for new trait icons, then all will be fine and dandy.
