These are no joke -- they're a real brand of cigarette papers made from hemp! While the seeds will whip cops into a frenzy, the paper is perfectly legal -- even though you're supposed to smoke it! I have a couple of packages of these papers, each slightly different. I scanned them and created the nifty '50s Atomic layout with Photoshop. It's no coincidence that "skunk" is a nickname for pot.

Unfortunately it's still illegal to grow in this country except for limited medicinal uses. Hopefully the continuing pressure will reverse things. I like the idea that we no longer need to cut down hundreds of acres of forest in order to produce paper enough to feed our need.
In Toronto everyone is fairly relaxed. The cops move in if you're growing the stuff by the bushel basket, but I've also seen police officers walk right by groups of people or doorways where the smell of burning pot couldn't be ignored. If it weren't for the religious right, mostly Americans, pot would probabably be legal in most of the developed world by now.
