Just as the title says, Happy Mid Autumn Festival to those who celebrate it!
I want to clarify and be completely transparent. I AM NOT ASIAN, of any decent. I am caucasian. I simply am just a fan of the culture and of the story of the rabbit on the moon. There is no ill intent meant by my art or my Character, in fact just the opposite.
But with that out the way please enjoy art of my OC/Sona Momo the Dwarf Bunny, who also happens to be able to harness "Moon Spirit" powers based on this lore. Momo's Moon Spirit form takes heavy reference from the game "Okami" which is based on Japanese culture but Momo does not lean specifically towards just this, which is why I included BOTH Mooncakes as well as Mochi as I wanted to represent both. ❤
