Trancua helped me find some humor in my roof situation.

A little while ago he and I were talking about what was going on and I mentioned Adare's brother came to help me when the leak started. This was the result. 8P

Adare and I love how our characters came out! We both got a special kick out of her brother. We never described him at all and somehow Trancua made a relatively accurate furry depiction! "He would so have cut horns!" She said.

Thanks again,  trancua! We really needed a laugh with all that was going on.

Meanwhile;

The construction worked as a symphony. Circular saws hummed and wailed while lumber banged into place. Somewhere in the hammer section, though someone was flat. Off toned bangs and thuds came with no particular timing. Instead of the click of nails the hammering was more often accompanied by cries of pain.

"What is..." The Bull's sentence stumbled around an unsure squint. "He? What is he doing again?"

His gaze had turned to thin brown frame and sweaty blond mane and tail hunched over a mangled piece of wood.

"Oscil's doing something very important." Adare said steadying the ladder.

His ears folded and he scratched between his blunted horns. "Could have fooled me."

"Very-" She said with an irritated frown. "Important." She folded her arms and tapped her hoof. "Or would you like some help up on the roof?"

"Point taken..." He said waving the idea away with his free hand.

"Hey 'Bob the bungler!' The Doc. wants you to come cook lunch." Impy screamed from the second story window.

Oscil scowled as he got to his hooves and started back inside.

"Hi," Impy said hopping up on to the windowsill. "How are you?" She asked wagging her tail and resting her head on her hands with a sigh.

"Your friends are weird." He said turning back to Adare.

"No, you!" She remarked yanking a fur from his arm and getting a grunt in return.
