LOOK. I know I already did a piece about this but after watching streamers I like play this game they also heavily lean into what they think Susie's canon romantic preferences are when she doesn't even give any real indications that she wants to be in a relationship with ANYONE who hits on her. And for some reason its making me big mad.
All of these are great ships and all but story and character wise its just. Too much. This weird love square makes me feel bad for Susie. She's literally never had good friends before and yall are hopping onto her after 1-2 days of befriending her. CHILL!! ;__;
And before anyone asks, Kris has flavor text insinuating that they have feelings for Susie too. Especially with how Susie Tea works on them and having the options to say/do some romantic things. They also might like Ralsei too (even though its off putting with them looking so much like Asriel, having his name that's an anagram of Asriel, etc.) but they're the only one. He doesn't have a thirsty swarm like Susie does.
I hope this gets addressed properly in the upcoming chapters where she has enough of her closest friends being like this.

Seriously though, yeah, this is some interesting ludonarrative dissonance that I hope Toby Fox addresses in the coming chapters. I've already seen the shipping wars starting up. Having said that, despite the goofy appearance and premise, the relationships in Deltarune seem to be pretty grounded in reality, and they even call out your behaviour as the player/ Kris's soul at times so it may be that all this shipping nonsense is something that will get called out at some point.

I'm pretty sure Susie will come out as just entirely aromatic at the end of it all and everyone will just have to deal. I also think the reason Ralsei can just go wherever he wants (which is always where Kris goes) is because he's the Dark World manifestation of the piece of Asriel (specifically as a young child and playmate) in Kris's heart, so they unconsciously bring him everywhere as if he were a physical object
I think that would be the best outcome, personal headcanons and wants aside. Like, it'd be nice to have other sexualities get rep too! And so far asexuality and aromantisism has been absent canonically.

Toby loves to torment introverted characters even though he's an introvert, himself. };3 Is Susie an introvert, though? If so, then she's an "A" type (assertive), not a "T" type (turbulent). That's if we're going by 16 Personalities archetypes. With the added "A/T" dimension, that ackshually means there are 32 personalities in that system of psychometrics.
In MBTI terms, Susie is usually typed as an ISTP. But what about the Five Factor model? And of the Five Love Languages, which would be Susie's preferred method of showing love (not LOVE)? That's "love" in a general sense, not specifically romantic. Ralsei is obviously an "acts of service" type. Susie might also be that type, but her version of that would be to throw herself in front of a boss enemy's attack to save one or more team members.
Anyway, she's the John Bender of this Breakfast Club...except when she switches from tsundere mode to hajidere mode. >///w///<
