Howdy owdy! I had intended to wait until October started to post this project along with the other Halloween designs, but I got excited to get started and, knowing me as I do, I was in danger of forgetting! Y'all know my type;;;

Anyway! This is a redesign of an old adopt that never sold from last year's Halloween. The theme is Swamp, and will be my first adopt of the event! Unlike last year I'm not going to post an adopt each day cuz I'm definitely not capable to since my brain work with energy made by a big fat hamster running inside their ball LMFAO

Let's get into the design details!
- The lotus flower there is part of the mare's body and is her main way of feeding or protecting herself. The plant is totally connected, and if it is removed, the mare will die and her soul will perish.

- The flower releases specific scents or odors to attract or drive away other species. This flower can even function as a separate living body and feed itself when it has the chance, almost like a carnivorous plant. It attracts small preys while the host (the mare) is submerged or sleeping, and as soon as the preys come into contact with it, they die of intoxication, start to melt, and are absorbed by the petals or leaves.

- At night, if the mare is awake and wandering in the swamp, she will go after her victims to feed on their souls.
