Though judging by the imagery, how long did it take?

This actually used to be my primary style all the way through high school and my first few years of college. But I got burned out on it because it was literally the only style of mine my instructors wanted to see from me. I got away from it for a long time other than the occasional sketch, but im considering getting back to it more.

It took me a few days of on and off sporadic work I think.

Forgive the language, but fuck instructors and other teachers who do this shit. They get their ass shoved so fucking full of their own head, they're gargling digestive juices.

I was a victim of this myself; if you weren't quote "naturally" talented, you shouldn't work on it, and they constantly badgered and beat me down on trying to improve. And it hurts a lot.

So I'm thankful you were able to look at those types and tell them to consume their own excrement.

Edit: I also shouldn't post when I first wake up, because I clearly forget how to reply to a comment instead of just cluttering things up.

It all ended up working out and I'm much more at peace with myself as an artist now that I've had the ability to explore different styles. And now that I dont have to do it all the time, it feels nice to come back to it. :)
