I personally consider Axol to be one of the best characters that SMG4 has ever made. Since when the axolotl got killed off very recently, it'd be nice to make him a bittersweet farewell, with a twist from the indie game Spiritfarer. Hopefully, once Axol moves on, Melony will continue his legacy from here on out.

I personally also loved Axol. It's a sad thing he won't be in SMG4 videos, but hey, we still can keep him alive...
Even if he's not canonically in SMG4 lore stories anymore, we can still keep him alive with fanarts, fanfictions, anything we can think of.
