A: I never said which was more badass. I said which makes a better master. Vamps do it as a living half the time :p ironic eh? xD
And everyone knows Twilight cannot be considered cannon in the supernatural world.
Finally, you can't pick a movie where the vamp is the bad guy. Pick a movie where the wolf is the badguy and he'll get his ass kicked. Be more impartial here man and I'll debate with you :p
Vampire lore has that they are masters by nature. They control people around them by will or force.
Wolves(or in this case werewolves) are feral and free. They are the exact opposite of making a good master as they hate the concept too much. But one can also not survive alone and will take to being a slave over being alone. (Granted they must actually be alone, if not there's almost no chance of keeping them as a slave. Tool or pet maybe if treated well, but not slave.) Even in wolf community there is the Alpha but he is not a master, he is a forceful leader who 'can' be replaced if the pack agrees. A master can be replaced 'only' through force.

Vampires rarely are seen completely alone actually due to them joining for power and or keeping food slaves nearby (again, they are almost by nature masters) AND staying near food sources (which are people generally, compared to a werewolve's food source of some random animal.)
It's not my point that there are few if any movies that are unbiased. It's my point that you can't use movies because of that.
It's not disqualified, it's a natural ability. Hell a lot of the time it's simple attractiveness and or connections in high places and money, not a telepathic or otherwise mind controlling power. And even if they don't have a pack, all they need is a single person. Doesn't even have to be the same person. Could be the person they kill if they dominate him or her before doing so. Pack =/= Control or Mastership.
My point is the pack may have the idea that the current Alpha isn't holding up to Alpha standards and decide to remove him in some way. There is an opinion and desire to replace.
With a master/slave relationship there is either complete compliance or the desire to flee. Not to replace. There's never the thought of "Wow... this master sucks, I want a new one" it's "Master is master and I do as he/she says" "I enjoy master's demands but do them because he says so" or "I'm not a slave, I will be free"
No wolf thinks in those terms nor knows how to deal with them. (In general terms. Individual wolf fursonas do I'm sure but we're being general.)
And you're skewing the picture a tad. You are a wolf, not a werewolf. I am a vampire who's base creature was a raccoon. So it's Vampire vs Normal Wolf. You walked into that one -,..,^
If our base creatures fought for who was physically stronger you'd bite me and break a tooth. Or you'd bite me, I wouldn't flich, bite you, and drain you. Or I'd actually attack you with my claws, you'd swat me, I'd do the lil vampire hover thing, recover, fade into darkness, appear on your back and bite you, then drain you. I have options. You don't.
If our fursonas fought your technical size would have even less meaning because it comes down more to the same standards as humans fighting, only with a couple natural weapons. But I'd still have the vampiric advantage.
And on both counts I have age and experience on you. Apx 350 years worth. (19-14=5*7*10) ((My age - your age = 5 * dog years * vampire)) (((House coons and House dogs have the same average life span so dog years is a decent number for both. On average if a human lives to 80 they would have lived to 800 or more as a vampire, thus 10 fits decently)

Also, wolves, being dogs, are loyal creatures by nature. Loyalty is a slave feature, not a master feature.
It's a good thing to be loyal, but again, not for a master. If there was a list of qualities in what to look for for a master, loyal would be below the 50th one. And I don't even know of that many qualities.

By "alone or slave" 'slave' needn't always be literal. In a relationship where one person is "whipped" that can qualify as well. It's a "I don't want to be alone and this person accepted me for some reason" slavery. A lot of dogs would prefer that over being alone, even if they're abused in the process.

Depending on the version of lore, stake to the heart doesn't kill, just paralyzes, you have to decapitate to kill. Now that beats a silver bullet lol

some vampires are more submissive then others, depending on how they were 'raised' by their sire.
wolves can be dominate in master/pet relationships as well.
it really depends on the personality of the wolf.
in conclusion, you two are both right, and both wrong. both vampires and wolves can be dominate and/or submissive.
And, as a side note, vampires could prefer to be in a coven, or be loners at night by themselves. wolves travel in packs because its easier to hunt in large groups, and care for the young. when a wolf is shunned, or choices to leave the pack, he is then a 'drifter' or loner. it really depends on personal preferences on being social or not.

So in effect you brought up a whole new debate which isn't possible for anyone to be right unless they take the "anything is possible" approach because of the fact that there could be a very dom wolf out there somewhere. Of course there could be. But it's more likely there isn't.
And again, even if the vamp is a loner he can still be dominating considering his prey. It doesn't matter whether or not he is surrounded by others.
