What treasures glisten in torchlight beneath ruined halls that could possibly send countless adventurer on treks from which they never return? Rumors abound that evil spirits guard ancient artifacts from those with greedy hearts, or an ancient curse which drives would-be robbers mad. Whatever the cause, few who have so much as laid eyes upon the path leading to the treasure have returned; albeit changed in body, mind, and far too often, attire. Strangely, those who venture into the depths of the ruins are known to find their bodily functions difficult to control henceforth, and notice their undergarments morph and transform, becoming bulkier, colorful, and covered in a strange, crinkling material and bound about the waist and tail with adhesive tapes which refuse to abandon their grip at the wearer's touch nor all forms of magic they may face.
In truth, most who seek out the treasure fail to notice the faeries' magic seeping from the very walls of the ruins; losing their clothes, continence, and advanced thought and communication processes as they delve deeper. Only a lucky few manage to spot the glistening doorway leading to another, likely far more accursed realm before they disappear amongst ghostly echoes of high-pitched sinister snickering and a chorus of childish coos.
