yes… this comic means a lot for me. i’ve lost two fingers due drug addiction and for a long time it’s been a triggering, catastrophic and scary part of my life despite i love joking about my fingers etc. not fighting the demons of the past not being mad at them but accepting they’re always there is the key for me. i’m clean for two years now but i know that the addiction still is inside me and will be there forever. and that’s okay. i can look into it’s eyes and i forgive it i know it didn’t hurt me bc i was bad or something. it’s just the way this demon lives and functions. it’s okay
