Max sat back as he watched his pup gaming while sitting atop him. He smiled at the canine. He smiled and leaned in, “Hey pup. Enjoying your little game?”
Kenzie flicked an ear but didn’t look up from his game, “Quiet. Couches aren’t supposed to talk.”
“But you just talked to me.”
“Strange, I hear sounds but I hear anyone else.”
“We’re talking right now.”
“Why would I talk to someone that's not there?”
“Your commenting as soon as I finished speaking, pup.”

The badger pouted a bit, “Guess I need to take more...drastic measures.” Max leaned in towards Kenzie as he rapidly tapped the buttons on his switch. He took a long inhale and.... A massive expulsion of air erupted from his muzzle. BBBBBBUUUUUURRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAPPPPP!!!!!!!
The sudden belch almost made Kenzie drop his console as his hair stood on end. He gasped as the hot air rushed over him. Once the gas leak petered out. Kenzie growled and turned to face Max. Anger radiated as he glared and bared his teeth. Max was a bit taken aback, until his gaze drifted down to the flashing screen. The words “Game Over” shown in red lettering took up most of the screen. The badger folded his ears back and gave a nervous smile. “Sorry about your game...” Kenzie still stared daggers at him, “Um...want a hug?”
