This film came out at the right in my life I was the same age as Elliott and seeing this and owning many merchandises from books, album and VHS and yes I got the Atari 2600 E.T. when it first came out in 1982. Hell I even got the E.T. Phone Home Atari home computer.

The Game that almost destroyed the Gaming industry. Yes all unsold copys were buried in a hole somewhere, but I also had a copy way back when. Cool collection though

I loved E.T. so very much but however that game causing the Game Crash of 1983 after the following year. Boy, I feel so sorry Atari corporation losing over 90% in profits from that time. Now, it's turning 40 this year. Damn.
