*knock* *knock* *knock*

"Buizel?" Riolu called out.

*opens the door slowly*

"You called? I couldn't hear anything over the phone so I rushed over... did you need help with the homewo-aaaAAAHH!!!"

Laying in the middle of the room was a thoroughly swollen Buizel straining against his own inflating body. Buizel and Riolu were two of a handful of pokemon with the unique ability to stretch their bodies to great lengths and in certain applications inflate themselves like a balloon. While the origins of this ability are still subject to research, it is known that pressure naturally builds inside them and is normally vented by periodically inflating. ... Though Buizel isn't fond of his elastic ability and his unwillingness to inflate tends to store excessive amounts of pressure until eventually, he loses control and balloons uncontrollably.

The sounds of a rubber balloon stretching filled the room as Buizel visibly struggled to hold himself together from growing bigger. Clearly, the pressure built up inside Buizel was beginning to leak out and was filling him at an alarming rate.

"R-Riolu! ... H-help!" Buizel managed to utter against the growing pressure building inside him.

Not wanting to leave his friend to struggle, Riolu cautiously approached the swelling weasel paying extra attention to himself just in case he started swelling as well.

"W-Wha-... What am I supposed to do?!" Riolu called out over the cacophony of squeaks.

"S-SOMETHING!" Buizel strained to say. "I c-can't hold it back MUCH LONGER!" With each second, Buizel visibly grew in size, at certain points surging outwards with an audible *FWOOOMPH*.

Riolu, unsure of what to do, watched helplessly as his friend swelled even larger, even seeing his reflection in his friend's ballooned tails. In less than a minute, Buizel nearly doubled in size, outgrowing his own bed, and was well on his way to filling the room. Struggling to control his inflation, Buizel twisted and turned in place only to find himself bigger than before. With the situation quickly growing out of control, Riolu watched as Buizel bounced along the floor before becoming neutrally buoyant and seemingly hanging in the air. Still, he continued to struggle, pressing deep into his rubbery hide as the world spun around him. Buizel lightly bounced off the ceiling and the room walls, each time accompanied by a sudden surge in growth. After several bounces, Riolu noticed Buizel was slowly heading towards him.

With his back up against the door, Riolu found he couldn't dodge his overblown friend. Shutting his eyes and bracing himself, Buizel's inflated frame pressed into Riolu. To Riolu's surprise, Buizel managed to completely envelop him before rebounding slowly with an audible *bwooonngg*.

After catching his breath, Riolu ran over to Buizel and managed to pin him up against a wall. 'Maybe if I press into him, we can squeeze all the air back in.'

Shaking his head, Riolu took a deep breath, and just before his paws could press into Buizel's swelling belly, he froze. Turning his head around slowly, Riolu's eyes shot wide open when he saw his tail swelling into a small party balloon. Taken aback, Riolu quickly retracted his paws and before he could think, he felt his aura sensors starting to swell as well.

Without a moment's hesitation, Riolu swung the door open and bolted out of the room crying out, "SORRY BUIZEL!" as he ran down the hall.

At this point, Buizel was beat red in the face with his inflated arms and legs splayed out to his sides. Despite the growing pressure within him, Buizel continued to struggle, feeling things press into him as he bounced around his room. Eventually, Buizel found himself firmly stuck between the ceiling and floor steadily swelling outwards in all directions. The feeling of being constrained while stretching outwards was overwhelming. It was only a matter of time before Buizel's strength ran out, and he knew all too well what would happen after that.

As Buizel felt the last bits of his strength fade, everything started going numb, sounds became mushed, and his vision filled with the sight of his giant inflated belly and floatation sac.

----[Later that evening]----

Riolu ran straight home and after a series of calming breathing exercises managed to get himself under control. After distracting himself with homework, Riolu decided it was best to head back and check on his friend.

As he approached Buizel's building, Riolu checked himself over to make sure he wasn't inflated and took a few deep breaths. After making his way through the building, everything seemed normal...

...up until Riolu rounded a corner and spotted one of Buizel's tails ballooned through a small gap under his door. The sight of Buizel's inflated tail filling the hallway sent a cool chill down Riolu's spine and was immediately accompanied with an audible fwoomph as his tail spontaneously ballooned bigger than before.

Riolu flinched at the uninvited inflation but was relieved to see it was still relatively small and manageable...... for now...

Not sure what help Riolu was going to be considering he's still learning to control his own elastic ability. But, it was worth a shot. xD
Anyways, just a short story since I felt this piece kind of needed some context...
