What about Voyager though? All their medical staff get killed on the first day of ther mission, and the Holographic Doctor doesn't have much luck. The only medical staff in Voyager not to be that unlucky is Kes!

Yellow are Security in TNG, in TOS they were Red.
Red shirts in TNG are command, was Yellow in TOS.

SO as long as hes not wearing yellow / Gold (depends on season) he's got a far better chance.

He's wearing a TNG uniform. So he'd be safe if he was wearing red.

this is why they now give all officers purple uniforms, and blue in the past (Enterprise)
so no one can tell who is actually gonna die

And you know he'll be beamed out right at the end of the episode, after he finds out what's creating this blocking energy field around the planet, learns why he's being attacked by... tentacle-trees? Is that what they are? ... and disables the device, reaching peaceful agreement with the natives, and finally restoring the planet's energy field just after he beams out, thus upholding the Prime Directive. This is, of course, after many security teams were beamed down and killed easily by the tentacle-trees >_>

As a Trek fan I must say you did a great job... And, yes the dress shoes made very little sense. Like the phaser, looks appropriate for the later seasons of TNG. Of you want me to get picky: You also cheated by having the right side of his collar facing away, so you didn't have to draw the brads that represent his rank.
