So this was an interesting and some what expected development. On of the side panels for the cabinet was wanting to bend convex to the box. This is unfortunate since this will be the panel I am mounting the actual amp to an since that will take up most of the side I am unable to rectify this by installing some sort of conventional brace. Any brace big enough to fix this bend would also be too big to let the amp sit flush
so... I cut another plate of plywood that was thin enough to fit between the mounting rails of the amp but not touch anything in the amp itself and spritzed it with some water and left it bent under tension till it died out. so now I am gluing that bent piece of wood to the panel in a way that will oppose the original bend.
This way the worst that will happen is the thing wanting to bend in a concave fashion which ill be fine since bolting a aluminum amp housing to it should fix that :)
This worked perfectly btw.
