One of the many reasons why I barely posted any drawings lately was my old scanner - it kept slashing my doodles with streaks & lines and I couldn't fix that. I had to digitally remove them in Clip Studio, but rarely felt the determination to go through all the hassle. Everything I draw always starts on paper and now it usually gets finished on paper as well. To be perfectly honest, I have way more fun holding a paintbrush rather than a stylus!

So a new scanner seemed like a proper investment. My mom generously participated in this purchase (love ya, mom <3); I'm going to use this bad boy for art only, while the old fella can stay around for documents. I have quite a lot of stuff I'd like to post, some separately and some combined.

Here I was just playing around & testing two watercolour brands. The left one is Sennelier, the right one is Holbein. Absolutely adore the former, wish I never bought the latter! (I still have quite a few brands sitting 'n' waiting to be tried!)
