yes this IS actually a picture of my brain, weird huh.
The thing circled in blue would be my 3cm AVM(https://health.google.com/health/re.....ion+-+cerebral). It is located between the occipital and temporal lobe in ma brain. I will be having an empolization and craniotomy most likely the 2nd week of October.
And yes MRIs are backwards! I originally thought it was on the left, but was later corrected.
So um..enjoy?

yup, I know. It's always like that. It's so odd looking at this pic today since I am 8 months post op. I STILL remember getting this MRI and seeing the black spot for the first time and asking the MRI tech what it was and he really wasn't allowed to say, he put his arm around me and walked me out which I thought was because he was just being nice, but in actuality, he know what it was and that I would need surgery.
