Decided to upload this as it's gonna be relevant to a mecha that will be introduced in Part 2 of Wolfy in Toon World Chapter 10.
So, remember how in Chapter 4, Torychu said that Koronda didn't operate Combat Integrated Systems/Mobile Suits in space, with all of their units being limited to the Atmosphere? Well...the reason is not so much that they lack the capacity to manufacture Space Capable Mobile Suits, but rather that they had an entirely different type of Mecha altogether that performed much better than they did. Meet the V-06 Vergil BattleFrame, Koronda's main Space Capable Fighter, as well as one of the most powerful Mechas in Toon World to date!
To make it seem slightly more professional as well as easier for me to explain, I decided just to list the attributes of this Mecha down below.
Mecha Specifications - V-06 Vergil:
Mecha Type - BattleFrame.
Height - 20 Meters Tall (65 Feet).
Power Plant - VLPINE Engine.
Fuel Used - VLPINE Fuel Cartridge Assembly.
Movement:
Thruster Setup - 6x Magnetic Induction Plasma Thrusters, 10x Micro-MIP Thrusters (Reaction Control).
Land Movement Capable? - No.
Atmosphere Capable? - Yes.
Atmospheric Entry Capabilities - Capable of entering and exiting the atmosphere completely unassisted.
Atmospheric Flight Setup - Rashina RS-560 Gas Turbine Engines.
Max Thrust - 2x 56000 HP + 2x 45000 HP + 2x 52000 HP (Main Magnetic Induction Plasma Thrusters), 2x 33000 HP (RS-560 Gas Turbine Engines).
Weapons:
1x Induction Plasma Beam Cannon (Left Sidek, Fixed).
1x High Fire Rate VLPINE Cannon (Right Side, Three Barrel Cannon, Fixed).
2x Belt-Fed Vulcan Cannons (Fixed, Motor and Firing Coils are cooled by the Main Cooling System).
Mounting Pylons in the back (The Rails behind the head) are used for additional Missile Pods, as well as other modules.
Now, while they are Real Robots/Mobile Weapons in a way similar to Mobile Suits, BattleFrames do have some key differences that set them apart from your average MS. For one thing, BattleFrames are a lot more maneuverable, faster, and powerful than both Mobile Suits and Mobile Armors alike, with the Vergil vastly outperforming most Space Type Mobile Suits such as the GNXes that Ezvakia routinely uses. For another, rather than Fuel Cells, batteries, GN Drives, and other power sources that are used by Mobile Suits, Mobile Armors, and other mecha, BattleFrames use a power source that's simply known as a VLPINE Engine, which will be discussed in greater detail in my WITW Terminology Guide that I am currently making. Finally, due to their space-centered design featuring Jointless Lower Legs, with only the top of the leg being able to rotate (And even then it's very limited), most BattleFrames aren't capable of moving on land, with them being stuck to flying within the Atmosphere instead.
The design for the Vergil was largely based on the Lion from Super Robot Wards, with some modifications being made to it.
The Lion, Gundam, and Super Robot War belong to Sunrise and Bandai-Namco Entertainment.
V-06 Vergil, Wolfy in Toon World, and the Drawing Itself belong to Me.
