Before Darxkai, there was Tyr. Same species but same skin designs from the game he's from - Path of Titans. Although it has been fun to run and hop around as Tyr in the game, he's gotten more time to explore and put his big brain to work in a little story I wrote a number of months ago.

In the story (not quite related to this image), Tyr encounters an inflatable Suchomimus, affectionately tries to care for her and give her random balloons as gifts. It was fun writing a silly scenario where random inflatables appear in Panjura, a troodontid figuring out the temperament and fun of balloons, caring for something bigger but more defenseless than himself - but it ended up being beneficial in unexpected ways - working through personal hangups, regrets, anger, loss, destruction, anxiety, standing up against those who attack myself and friends in game, generally just improving my writing skills, and learning to be more comfortable with myself.

By the time I made this sketch, I was getting more into MUCKs and back to drawing again - I knew Tyr needed to be retired (the skin is not only complicated to recreate but it's also not mine; the design is part of the game) and it was time to make a character of my own. And thus, Darxkai was born.
