I Really like Men at Work too. The tune I was thinking of was recorded by a group called "Flash in the Pan" in the mid 1980s. Because of your link I was able to find this long lost "Gem."

Men at Work originally released Overkill in 1983 on the 'Cargo' album.

Colin Hay recorded this acoustic version in 2003 on the 'Man @ Work' album.

Men at Work are an aussie pop-reggae band from 1979 to 1985.

At lest there's pretty lights, and though there's little variation, it nullifies the night from overkill.
