Iggy - freshman at CCHS. dawn's best friend and companion. a nonbinary lava monster who grew up in a communal village, they'll follow dawn to the ends of the earth. they share dawn's interest in the occult. has a crush on fir — which is a problem, because lava monsters and plants don't mix well.
Motine - demon that dawn and iggy summoned that now won’t leave them alone. he likes to cause trouble and has frightening powers, despite his cute appearance. could potentially be millennia old.
Simon - freshman at CCHS. close with dawn and iggy, he often gets wrapped up in their messes. he likes to think he’s cool, but he’s really just an average kid.
Anise - freshman at Hellspawn Academy in Hell. she’d be a cool kid at CCHS, but is kind of an outcast at Hellspawn for her interest in vintage stuff and the overworld.
Fir - freshman at CCHS. she’s bookish conifer tree who tends to get wrapped up in her studies and wants to go and see the world. is deathly afraid of lumberjacks.
