Yes, in Pokemon-amie petting muks end up making this sound that always gives the impression of not being able to move freely or fast. I imagine, in comparison to normal muks, Alolan ones must feel more like honey/syrup from their fruit based diets. [Their poison is in the crystals. So as long as you don't touch there, perfectly safe.]
