Kitty: Okay, folks. It's time we dismantled the Robot, and find out who he truly is under that mask. I tell ya, this one was pretty tough to narrow down, but let's see what the panel thought with their first impression guesses.
*The TUFF Troopers head down into the underground vault, and retrieve the first impression guesses for the Robot. They return to the stage with them, and Kitty begins to read each one.*
Kitty: Alright. The first impression guesses for the Robot are as follows...
Terry's first impression guess: George Jetson from "The Jetsons"
Cadence's first impression guess: Elroy Jetson from "The Jetsons"
Chick's first impression guess: Judy Jetson from "The Jetsons"
Stew's first impression guess: Elroy Jetson from "The Jetsons"
Fred's first impression guess: Mr. Spacely from "The Jetsons"
Isabelle's first impression guess: George Jetson from "The Jetsons"
Kitty: Well, that about does it for the first impression guesses. Let's find out who's right, as we...
Everyone: TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OFF! TAKE IT OF! TAKE IT OFF!
Robot: (struggling to get his mask off given how wobbly his arms were)
Kitty: (helping him remove it)
*Kitty then removes the Robot's mask, revealing him to be Astro from "The Jetsons".*
Kitty: Oh my God! You're not gonna believe this, but it's Astro, the Jetsons' talking dog!
Astro: Hi, everybody! (licks Kitty on the cheek)
Terry: The DOG?!? It was the Jetsons' dog the whole time?!?
Isabelle: Well, at least we were in the same franchise.
Astro: (pointing at Fred) Fred! I thought you of all people would know!
Fred: (realizing his boo-boo) I know! But, when I saw the sprocket, I immediately thought "Spacely's Sprockets," which led me to Mr. Spacely, the Mr. Slate to my George Jetson!
Chick: I can't believe you didn't get that, considering that you guys had a crossover one time!
Fred: I know! Oh, boy. I feel so stupid.
Cadence: Wouldn't have been the first time.
Kitty: True. But, anyway, Astro is the talking dog of the Jetson family, the main group of characters that appear in an animated sitcom about what life would be like in the future, which, considering what the 21st century really looks like these days, sadly never came to be. ^^; And, like Fred pointed out, it was similar in vain to the Flintstones, to the point where the two shows ended up crossing over at one point.
Astro: Yup. I became best buddies with Dino, even though we freaked out when we saw each other for the first time. ^^
Fred: I know. It was the first time I actually saw automatic doors not powered by monkeys.
Kitty: Yeah. But, just like in the Flintstones, all sorts of wacky shenanigans happen surrounding the Jetson family, to which Astro sometimes gets involved with. Whether it be dealing with aliens in the Jetsons movie, or having Judy Jetson start her own band in "Rock Around The Galaxy," where she was targeted BY aliens, the Jetsons always seem to get into some sort of futuristic dilemma where hilarity usually ensues.
Astro: Uh-huh. But, one thing that I always seem to get involved with is whenever George takes me walking on the treadmill outside our house, I get SO high-spirited, I run off it, leaving him to go spinning on it.
Terry: Oh, of course! The whole "Jane! Stop this crazy thing!" schtick!
Stew: Boy, I can't believe I missed that one.
Isabelle: But, what was the springy shoe clue in the Clue Package rewind all about? Is it another part that George manufactures for Mr. Spacely?
Astro: Nah, it was referencing the Jetson's pet alien, Orbitty! He had spring legs.
Isabelle: Oh, yeah! I forgot about that little guy.
Kitty: So, why'd you choose to come onto the Masked Toon Singer?
Astro: I just wanted to do something fun. But, mainly to show everyone that dogs can indeed sing. I mean, why do humans always have big record deals or musical showcases, when we animals don't get attention for our vocal talents? It's not fair!
Kitty: You said it.
Cadence: Well, I think you definitely proved US wrong, Astro. We thought you were great. ^^
Chick: And, since you mentioned that Judy started her own band in that one movie, maybe you can do a duet together. Just sayin'.
Astro: I know! We'll see what she says, though.
Fred: Oh, and when you get back to your universe, tell George that I said hi, and that Dino's willing to come over when he feels like it.
Astro: Okay, Fred! And, next time another Hanna-Barbera character comes on this show, get it right!
Fred: I will, Astro!
Chick: Somehow, I doubt it.
Kitty: You said it, Chick! Well, this was an unexpected reveal, and since nobody guessed the Robot right, nobody gets a point, which means the score still stands with Terry and Isabelle tied for the lead with one a-piece. We'll have to wait until Group Alpha performs again, but next time, Panda, Devil Dog, Disco Ball, and Elephant will be joined by our second Wild Card contestant, so that should be very exciting. But, right now, let's hear it for the artist formerly known as the Robot, Astro!
