Nartas, the Cursed, is a mythical figure in my Crimson Gates setting. Guilty of an unimaginable sin, some say he is cursed to walk the land forever. Unable to die, losing who he is with each passing day, consumed by his own darkness. Nartas stands as a warning to those who would entertain thoughts of going against the Gods' Will.

I think this is the final sketch of Nartas, finally got a pose/figure that I kind of like - all the other attempts I made, even the one I uploaded here in the past, looked to wooden or fake to me. I think this one captures the despairing mood of the character better and I may further hunch is back just to make it even clearer.

Nartas will stand as the entry for the Deer People, in the Crimson Gates world. I will post the accompanying lore when I upload the finished piece.
