Whoop! Uploaded a day late because I was busy right up until midnight yesterday and this image just REFUSED to scan. I'm using some new chalk-based markers (I've sued acrylic and water based for my brown paper art in the past) and they are super-duper bold! But my scanner just insisted on massively muting the colours each time. So here is a photo of it (not as crisp as a scan, but you can see the colours a little better). The pens re good but a bit bulky so details here hard, and you can't really go over the smaller parts with a different pen to highlight parts. So good colour but only for big bold drawings I feel.

So here is my alien character Mewn. Her species has the ability to see a little into the future and all the paths you could take. However, people come to her and insist on using crystals to tell fortunes. Mewn's species did indeed favour crystals; (as many had formed naturally on her planet before it was destroyed that is) but just as the pretty mineral they are. You cannot see future and truth in the stones, only your distorted reflection. She will play along for a fee, but deep down will be deeply insulted if you tell her this lump of pretty rock can tell your future better than her own flesh and blood.
