Those of you who haven't seen him before, this suit was the first suit I made ever. I wanted to make a suit that wasn't sugary sweet cavity inducing cuteness, but I somehow failed anyway, lulz. The beak alone took me over a month of fighting and cursing at it (it's celluclay over foam, sanded, painted and sealed). The wings were made in an all nighter before Anthrocon 2008. 8D It's become somewhat of a tradition for me to have allnighters finishing something before AC.
I miss those jeans. The zipper busted and I don't know how to sew zippers

It's funny to me that I instantly knew this was from AC because of the background, not yet even seeing tell-tale obvious ginkgo leaf carpet, and that I also know what part of the hotel this is. It's like that hotel is an extension of my house or something. I am feeling some furry pride and belonging lol

Well, if that wasn't the most off-the-wall, random and rude question you ask someone you don't know, I don't know what is. Lurk more.
But I'm going to answer it anyway, and say just what any other fursuiter would say: Wait until they are completely out of suit, preferably back in the hotel room, to do so.

Yes, because I'm really going to and use the bathroom in this getup, taking it all off (which takes long enough to get on in the first place), and risk getting nasty stuff on it while in said bathroom? Nope, we wait.
I'm not upset, just boggling a bit at the lack of thought behind the question. But I can see that you don't own one yourself, so you might not understand where I'm coming from.

I'm just gonna say that spending hours at a time in a hot fursuit calls for the drinking of water for hydration. And all that water's gotta go somewhere. What if something else just comes along and you're too far away from your hotel room, and can't get your getup off on time? Well, just seems like you'd take a nice giant shit in your suit because lack of thought in making your suit came into play.
Asking a simple questions like she did Diffi was not being rude. She was simply questioning whether or not is was possible with your type of suit. Your response is what made it rude. Please don't go throwing around accusations like you're a chimpanzee. She was not trying to troll you, and you've got no right to get offended at her.
Me however, you can go ahead and take a nice, giant shit on me for being rude, cause honestly, I could even give you some shit to throw at me. :3

The drinking of all that water does go somewhere: straight to hydrating your body, and attempting to cool off your body by producing sweat. Even if you had to go, you wouldn't have to in a minute or two, because it goes somewhere else more important. Never have I suited and had to use the bathroom, until I was well out of the suit.
As for taking a shit, well, I think you have fair warning that you need to answer THAT particular call of nature, to have plenty of time to hoof it to the hotel room or headless lounge and strip. If you've been having other abdominal problems, you shouldn't be suiting at that time anyway.
And yes, the question was quite off the wall and rather rude, and yes, even a little offensive. Why? It doesn't matter if my suit has wings, flippers, or even paws; the answer is always the same, and she could have easily looked the question up, instead of asking that kind of question in a comment to my picture. I wouldn't have even minded if she PMed it to me. But that question, and hundreds of others like it, have been asked and answered several times over. I didn't mean to upset HER with my sheer 'wtf are you asking' schpiel, but that was my reaction.

Er, totally ignoring the comments above, this costume is REALLY cool! I'm a big fan of naturalistic costumes and it's especially impressive to see such an uncommon species done so well. I knew exactly what I was looking at way before I read the title. :3 I would love for my bird costumes to meet up with one of yours one day. :D
