My guitar practice has been halted recently because of an earnest attempt to remove my entire left index finger with a breadknife last month - it's on the mend and I can type once more, but I'm going to have to wait until it's fully healed before I pick it up again. In the meantime, though, I finally finished this after it had been hanging around for months, and can at least share the MIDI and tab ahead of the full submission.
The title and words were really the most difficult part, and I ended up with a sort of lyrical vomit that I think is quite far on in my quest to write something completely uninterpretable. The same goes for the title, but sometimes, a ridiculous portmanteau just stays with a song, and this is one of them.
The icon is from Judas Priest's Electric Eye, with some modification. It also contains a couple of borrowed instrumental sections, the significance of which I will leave you to puzzle out.
Lyrics
Throughout all the torrents of our time
In every last chance that made my life
Of all the times and places to exist
I found you
Two separate lives in perfect line
And born at a turning point in time
So many threads converged to form
The path that made this mind
Here, hidden all of this time
Through the years of my life
Staying out of their sight
But now I hear the silent words to greet me
"Welcome to your doom"
And then we rise into the dark
A life more than true
We're carrying the mark of doom
And coming straight for you
Running free and into the sky
Never think about your fall
When karma will come back to us all
A story of love and not of hate
But matching each victim to their fate
And slowly I became what I was
Never meant to be
Now at the turn of the tides
Then the voices will rise
And I look to their eyes
I have created my destruction
In sentencing them to my own heaven
Rise into the dark
A life more than true
We're carrying the mark of doom
And coming straight for you
Running free and into the sky
Never think about your fall
When karma will come back to us all
[Solo]
Today is born the seventh one
A perfect image of
The universe and all
Today we live again as one
Two souls combine in harmony
With just one common goal
And the cycle starts again
[Instrumental from the past]
In this world hidden all of this time
Through the years of my life
Staying out of their sight
But now I hear their voices calling for me
"Please kill my master"
Rise into the dark
A life more than true
We're carrying the mark of doom
And coming straight for you
Running free and into the sky
Never think about your fall
When karma will come back to us
Every single one of us
Karma will come back to us all

Thanks very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it - and for the watch and the good wishes, as well! Sorry to have given the details... ;) It's healing pretty well - it's still all there and I can type again with it now, at least, but there's still a sensitive patch at the end of my finger that doesn't like being put on a guitar string. Maybe in a week or two I'll be able to pick it up again.
If you take away a lesson from it... don't cook like me :)
