This is the product of an
impromptu role playing encounter involving this thing leaping onto my
friends back from out of nowhere, smacking and prodding his face with
it's sandpaper like fingers (if you can call them that) and stealing
one of his eyes before running along a wall and rushing through a
window it had somehow silently chewed through at some point.
The illustration is of a healthy adult specimen,.. it weighs about sixty pounds,.. it is roughly three feet 'long' although it 'stand' very crookedly and can only manage about two and a half feet in height when it rears up to strike or leap. Normally they take little notice of their immediate surroundings other than what has them fixated. Normally encountered in out of the way places like abandoned homes, water drainage systems, trash dumps, and derelict vehicles. Extremely aggressive if provoked. While generally harmless they can be extremely dangerous when exhibiting territorial, stalking, or reproductive behavior. If you spot one slowly and calmly leave the area, barricade your self in a room that has solid doors, or in a pinch close yourself in a car. Its wise to remember that they have much faster reflexes than creatures dependent on crude bio chemical synapses. Loud noise and non lethal injury can send it into a frenzied state of confusion meaning that anyone shooting at usually only gets one good shot.
My fantasy furry suburbs are /happening/ places I tell you. To his credit the hyena only lost an eye. The authorities think they laid some sort of organ or egg in some of the less fortunate neighbors.
I think I should do a kid's book sometimes. Wolfsinn's big list of ten
reasons not to get out of bed at night. I could illustrate it and
everything!

Sexy indeed.
You DO need to do a kid's book!! I would totally read it. Hehe!
Also why did I not get anything laid in me?
"I met a hideous monster and all I lost was an eye"
sounds better to say
"I met a hideous monster and all I got was impregnated"
or something... needs work.
