Inspired by some roleplaying.
Our Tuesday Night Dungeons and Dragons group is infiltrating a lair of Mindflayers. The Mindflayers are using Warforged as guards and thralls. It's all going well, my Warforged fighter, Striker and the Party's half-elf Bard, Bowyn are bluffing their way past Mindflayer and Warforged alike; Thanks to Bowyn's Hat of Disguise, While the rest of the party follow us under the cloak of an invisibility Potion. Bowyn's making a convincing Warforged. It's all sweet, then Bowyn looks at Striker and says, "We're Just Like Real Warforged! Teehee", Striker can only sigh and look at her dumbfounded. "But I AM a real Warforged", he mutters. Classy times.
Warforged are like living robots, made of steel and wood in the DnD Universe. Enjoy;p
